Il Turuziello holiday farm, registered as didactic farm since 2013, offers guided tours to the farm to introduce guests to the life and rhythm of old days, and to that nature and outdoor life too often forgotten.

The visit to the farm will show a world made of simple acts and age-long traditions, among the scent of hay and the flavour of freshly milked milk. You can do lots of things, from petting newly born calves to tasting the milk and the typical products of the farm, playing with the horses and cats and feeling cuddled and welcomed in a friendly atmosphere. The farm can be visited under any weather condition, though it is definitely better to come on a beautiful sunny day! ‘Living on a farm’ includes:

  • visit to the cattle sheds, hand milking and tasting of freshly milked milk.
  • making of mozzarella cheese and tasting.
  • possibility to help with the daily farm chores: milk the cows, feed and care for the calves, the two horses, Arisa and Totò, and the pigs.
  • a taste of salami of our own production and local wine.
